Roanne center is celebrating his 100th birthday: Creator of defense references for a century

On December 6th, the Establishment of Roanne celebrated its centenary

This facility, built in the years 1916-1918, was originally dedicated to the manufacture of shells to support the war effort during the First World War. It then evolved towards the diversification of its activities between the two world wars (manufacture of railway, agricultural equipment, parts for the industry, bicycles, ...). After 1945, the activity focused on the integration of the armored vehicles of the AMX range - from the AMX 13 to the Leclerc tank - to the current systems of the group: Aravis, VBCI, Caesar and tomorrow VBMR-Griffon and EBRC Jaguar.
