Nexter group will be present at DIMDEX 2018


Doha, March 10, 2018 – Nexter, a company of KNDS, will exhibit its know-how on the KNDS booth and BARZAN pavilion during the 2018 DIMDEX exhibition taking place in Doha from the 12th to the 14th of March 2018. Part of its range of products will be shown including armored combat vehicles 8x8, artillery systems, ammunitions and robotics.


Nexter and Texelis win the lightweight VBMR contract


Roanne, February 12th, 2018 –Nexter and Texelis are delighted at today's confirmation by Florence Parly, Minister of Armies, for the attribution of the supply of Lightweight Multi-Role Armoured Vehicles (VBMR Véhicules Blindés Multi-Rôles) for the French Army. The contract went through the “Direction Générale de l’Armement” (DGA) in the presence of Joël Barre, National Armament Director (NAD), and Bernard Barrera, Major General of the land forces.


The Narwhal boarded the first Albanian-made patrol boat


On the 15th of January took place in the premises of the Naval shipyard PASHALIMAN, in Albania, the official delivery to the Albanian Navy, Butrinti, the first local patrol boat equipped with the Narwhal 20A. The ceremony, which also marked the start of the Butrinti NATO mission in the Aegean Sea, was attended by the Defense Minister of Albania,

VBCI sets new major milestones in Qatar

Versailles-Satory, December 19th, 2017 – Nexter Group announces the success of the new VBCI evaluation campaign by Qatari forces. It has demonstrated once again all the performances of the vehicle. The shots, carried out in different weapon system configurations, highlighted the performances and ergonomic qualities of the 40mm turret equipped with the 40CTA telescopic gun. This is another important step towards signing the contract for the supply of VBCI combat platforms in Qatar.


Signature of a Letter of Intent for 490 VBCI in Qatar
