News DAKAR 2016 AVEC NOTRE SYEGON® !
Peugeot Sport equipped with SYEGON® comes back on the DAKAR 2016, through Argentina and Bolivia!
The 2016-team consists in 4 talented pilots, all of them multiple winner of the legendary competition.
For such rallies, all-terrain mobility is critical to the vehicle performance and success; it is all the more important in that particular race since Peugeot Sport’s strategy is to field two-wheel drive cars. SYEGON® aims to help in improving the car mobility by adapting tire pressure according to the terrain.
Again this year, Peugeot Sport entrusted Nexter Mechanics' SYEGON® team to work out an evolution of its standard CTIS into a customized system that meets Peugeot Sport specification needs and requirements on one hand, and the TSO Organization regulations on the other hand. SYEGON® rose up and assumed the challenge : the changes involve weight reduction of the system and wheelvalves with shorter deflating time, while maintaining the whole system reliability.
Nexter Mechanics is proud to participate to this event of international reputation, featured along with Peugeot Sport, besides usual competitors in the Buggy and the Truck category (namely MAN, Ginaf) which already selected and use SYEGON® for mobility enhancement.
